Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko gifted a number of KSCE students in Nairobi with geometrical sets and other exam material.
Through his Sonko Rescue Team, he gifted St Anthony and St Mary’s KCSE candidates with exam material.
The team also reached out to Lynpets Ambassadors School.
In a message posted on his Facebook page, the ex-governor said that the team is also donating sanitary towels to girls in various schools across the 85 wards in Nairobi.
” We are also donating sanitary towels to our girls and success cards to all our candidates,” Sonko said.
The team is targeting atleast 2000 candidates who are in need of exam material.
Sonko told The Times that he will also gift the best students from poor families once the results are released later in the year.
