President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday morning made an extensive inspection tour of the Green Park Bus Terminus on Haile Selassie Avenue in Nairobi.
The Head of State, who was accompanied by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction of the ultra-modern bus station, being developed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Service, as part of Government efforts to decongest the city’s CBD.
Raila also said he was impressed by the progress the project had taken.
“I’m impressed by the progress of works being carried out at the Green Park bus terminus that I saw during an inspection tour of projects with President Uhuru Kenyatta. The Green Park is a major step towards making Nairobi a friendlier, less congested, and livable city.” Raila said.
