Parklands MCA urges Kenyan to work hard After Uhuru lifts Curfew

Parklands MCA Jayendre Malde has thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for lifting the nationwide dusk-to-dawn curfew and urged Kenyans to take advantage of it and work extra hard.

Jayendre Malde proclamation comes a day after President Uhuru Kenyatta lifted the curfew with immediate effect during the 58th Mashujaa Day Celebration at the Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County.

“I hereby order that the nationwide dusk to dawn curfew that has been in effect from March 27, 2020, be and is hereby vacated with immediate effect,” President Uhuru said.

The Parklands MCA said that the lifting the curfew was a good step in reopening the economy and would give a life line to businesses that have suffered as a result of the curfew.

‘’I really thank the president for that bold  decision he made yesterday, it was long now time to grow our economy and recover the lost that has been witnessed during this Covid-19 period, it’s a good step towards opening up the economy and giving a life line to the businesses that have suffered during this period’’ He said

The MCA further appeal to the residents of Parklands to come up in large numbers and register as voters in the ongoing voter registration by IEBC.
