Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri’s secret plot to get a direct ticket from Deputy President William Ruto has failed terribly.

Ngunjiri who is facing stiff competition from favourite Irene Njoki has threatened to quit UDA if he is not given a direct ticket.

While addressing UDA allied MPs after today’s humiliation, the outspoken Bahati MP said that the only way he can work with DP Ruto is if he gets a direct ticket.

His move has been interpreted in some quarters as blackmail tactics by the MP who has lost support on the ground.

Out of the 13 members of parliament who were present today advised Kimani Ngunjiri to retire in peace in order to avoid a humiliating defeat that was awaiting him in nominations.

It is believed that Ngunjiri fallout with the Deputy president started when the MP voted yes for BBI bill in Parliament a move that did not go well with most party Die hards.

Recent opinion polls in Bahati Constituency have shown that the Two time Jubilee MP is drastically loosing touch with his People and if elections where to be conducted today He may lose his seat to Irene Njoki.
