Murang’a Gubernatorial Candidate on a Farmer’s Party ticket Irungu Nyakera has added another feather in his hat after hosting the Deputy President William Ruto in Mathioya.
The “Manager” that Murang’a county much needs, was very elated to see the warm reception that Dr William Samoei Ruto received in Murang’a.
A brilliant leader, Mr Nyakera says “There is no bottom up, without Farmers.”
He has been on the front line championing the rights of farmers who have been for a long time. From the once oppressed tea and coffee farmers, Mr Nyakera highlighted their plight when he sat at the National Taskforce on Tea and Coffee reforms.
Through the fruitful endeavour, Mr Nyakera saw the farmers smile all the way to the bank and now they are economically empowered
according to locals his profile is tasty and worthy the office he is looking for. Irungu Nyakera is a Stanford-educated technocrat who has served in various leadership roles in banks both locally and abroad. He was appointed as Principal Secretary, State Department of Transport, Ministry of Transport, infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development by the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta in December 2015.
