The incoming Governor of Kiambu County Patrick Wainaina popularly known as Jungle is a man after the hearts of Kiambu Residents.
Mr Jungle who has satisfactorily served Thika Town people as their Member of Parliament is now seeking the mandate of Kiambu Governorship.
In his Facebook post he said,
“It was a great day interacting with the residents of Kiambaa sub-county, from Cianda to Kawaida, Gathanga and other places where I was warmly received.
Indeed Kiambu people have shown their thirsty for the right leadership that can impact on their lives positively; be it in health, agriculture, economic empowerment, education or infrastructure development.”
Jungle continued to say that should the People of Kiambu give him the chance he will work tirelessly to serve them.
“I bring all this on table as I plan to work with the people of the great Kiambu county to bring this much needed transformation.”
His first key agenda is infrastructure. He says,
“Infrastructure which includes roads, Street lighting and water distribution is my first key agenda among the 5 key pillars I have for the people of Kiambu. Kiambu must transform, work must be done and am ready for it.”
Jungle believes if agriculture is well prioritized it can be the game change for economic development. He says, “Agriculture being one of the key sector that supports Kiambu economy, I place it as one of my 5 key pillar agenda to transform our County.”
This is the reason why Jungle has been creating capacity among farmers and sensitising them on the importance of embracing grafted avocado and macadamia seedlings. He says,
