Residents of Githurano 44 in Nairobi County are a happy lot after the launch of new classrooms in one of the secondary school and also an office to render services to the public.
These services have been realised through the National Government’s Constituency Development Fund under the patronage of the wise and able Honorable Waihenya Ndirangu.
Mr Waihenya, a soft-spoken, down to earth yet industrious legislator, says that the project is a major gain for the residents especially when it comes to improvement of education standards in the area.
The Project saw the completion of a total of sixteen classrooms and a laboratory in Githurai secondary school plus an office for disbursement of bursaries.
Roysambu NG-CDF chairperson Dr. Isabelle Waiyaki alluded that a total of ksh 70M has been used in the projects. Waiyaki thanked the area legislator Waihenya Ndirangu for wise patronage and transparency in administration of the fund.
Githurai Secondary was started in the year 2020 and at the moment has more than seven hundred students where Roysambu MP alluded that his vision is to improve school infrastructure in the area so that students can learn in a conducive environment.
