By John Kariuki
Gatundu North MP Annie Wanjiku Kibeh is clinching the seat for a second uninterrupted term.
This is according to a latest pollster, Mizani Africa that shows Wanjiku leading with over 60% popularity rating. Her merit is attributed to her selfless service delivery to the great people of Gatundu North.
A great performer indeed is Gatundu North MP Annie Wanjiku Kibeh.
Humble, down-to-earth philanthropic and personable are the few attributes in the long list of accolades to the credit of this leader who stands for nothing less than integrity.
Since she was elected in 2017, she has managed to extensively renovate and even build new modern classrooms in 57 out of 58 public primary schools in Gatundu North.
She says,
“This transformation has undoubtedly positively changed KCPE mean score from 220 in 2017 to 254 in 2021.
No doubt a conducive environment is critical in improving the academic performance in school.
Through funding from Gatundu North NG-CDF, Kajabi public primary school now boasts of a conducive learning environment for our children after we constructed this storeyed block of four (4) modern classrooms.
Before this the children were learning in very dilapidated iron sheets old classes with earthen floors. In Season 2, we hope to build another similar block to completely resolve the learning space challenge that still exit.”
