Intex Construction To Oversee Kibera Soweto East Zone B Social Housing Project
President William Ruto has said his government is shifting to a new delivery model for social housing that will relieve millions of ordinary Kenyans of the financial burden of owning a house.
Speaking during the launch of the proposed Kibera Soweto East Zone B Social Housing Project in Lang’ata, Nairobi County, that will construct 4,054 units, Ruto said the Kibera Soweto East Zone B Social Housing Project will allow Mama Mbogas to pay as low as Sh2,400 a month for a one-bedroom apartment under the tenant purchase scheme.
‘We believe this will help upgrade slums, open up the economy and drive our growth.’ Ruto said.
