Methodist Clergy Protest Ntombura Leadership
By John Kariuki
A section of Methodist Church clergy have opposed the leadership of the church under Bishop Ntombura.
The synod clergy termed high handedness in the leadership of Bishop Ntombura.
“We have tried to exhaust all avenues of dialogue to no avail. The Bishop has been cunning and all our efforts to reconcile have been futile. This is why we applied to picket although our efforts were thwarted by police officers without divulging more information,” Bishop Matumbî said..
The antagonist group vowed to be gathering every week to protest their dissatisfaction with the Bishop Ntombura whom they said has been in office illegally since his term expired early August.
