PSE,KCPE pregnant go into labour in exam room

One grade six KPSE exam candidate from Kajiado central sub county gave birth in the morning while two KCPE candidates are waiting to give birth at Bisil health centre after going into labour while writing their exams.
The 14 years old KPSE candidate from Oiti primary school went into labour while writing the morning paper and was rushed to Bisil health center where she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
The centre exam invigilator said the security team and teachers overseeing the exam moved in earnest and they called an ambulance that took the girl to hospital in good time.
She was allowed to sit for an afternoon paper in new mothers ward.
The girl’s parent lauded the taevhera for taking care of her daughter.
Another two girls from Ilbisil boarding primary school were said to have gone into labour while still sitting for the afternoon paper.
Currently they are admitted at the same hospital waiting to deliver.
In Kajiado County 10 pregnant girls are sitting for Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams,28 girls KCPE and 86 girls for KCSE exams. Majority of the candidates for KPSEA and KCPE exams turned for exams that began on Monday.
