MP Wanjiku Muhia Introduces Free Education in Kipipiri Constituency to Boost Access to Education

Kipipiri Member of Parliament, Wanjiku Muhia, has launched a free education program for all students in the constituency. Under the program, parents will only be required to pay Ksh 2,000 per term for day schools.

Speaking during the launch of the program at Wanjohi Mixed Secondary School, MP Wanjiku Muhia called on parents to take advantage of the free education program and enroll their children in school.

She emphasized the importance of education in the development of the constituency and the country as a whole.

“We cannot afford to have children missing out on education due to financial constraints. Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our young people and enabling them to contribute to the development of our nation. That is why we are launching this free education program to ensure that every child in Kipipiri constituency has access to quality education,” MP Wanjiku Muhia said.

MP Wanjiku presented a cheque of 48 million to all schools across the constituency.

The program, which is funded through the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), aims to make education more accessible and affordable to all students in the constituency.

It is expected to benefit thousands of students in day schools across the constituency and is part of MP Wanjiku Muhia’s efforts to improve education in the area.

The launch was attended by local leaders, education stakeholders, and parents who expressed their gratitude to MP Wanjiku Muhia for the program. They praised her for her visionary leadership and commitment to improving the lives of her constituents.

“I am very grateful to MP Wanjiku Muhia for this initiative. It will go a long way in ensuring that all children in Kipipiri have access to quality education. I urge all parents to take advantage of this program and enroll their children in school,” said Mary Wambui, a parent.

The program is expected to have a significant impact on education in Kipipiri constituency, enabling more children to access education and ultimately contributing to the development of the area.
