Mihango Member of County Assembly Paul Kados has today praised Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja for his efforts to bring the people of Nairobi together.
Kados who doubles up as the deputy speaker at the county assembly has illustrated the numerous aspects in which the City Boss has tried to unify citizens of Nairobi during the 60th Madaraka Day at the Joe Kadenge Stadium in Nairobi.
“A 29 year old girl is sitting in your cabinet as a county executive committee member together with a man of my age. All tribes are in your government and people employed in your government are residents here,” he stated implying to cases in which those in power sold jobs to people from other counties in the previous regimes.
Kados also lauded Sakaja for embracing MCAs from both the opposition and ruling party.
“We are grateful for giving development priority to all the 85 wards and employing the open door policy. You are accessible and no bureaucracy to reach you,” he said.
The MCAs also noted the efforts Sakaja is putting in place to ensure better education and health services.
