Bandari loses to Tusker in FKF Premier League kick off
Former Football Kenya Federation [FKF] champs Tusker football club beat coastal based league club Bandari football club 1-0 during a match played at the weekend.
The former champs scored the winning goal through Deogratus Ojok on the 41st minute to collect three points during the match played at KPA Mbaraki sports club in Mombasa county.
The home team dominated the entire game against the visiting team who managed to escape with a narrow win despite being on the receiving end due to the home team’s poor striking power
The hosts will leave to regret it for not registering a win against the former champs where spectators enjoyed a free entrance to watch the match. They had an advantage when the center referee sent former champs’ player David Odoyo out of the field for committing a foul which almost resulted in a physical encounter.
The ports side mounted more pressure to get an equalizing goal through team striker Brian Bwire before halftime, but the visiting custodian frustrated their efforts.
