ASK coast branch to collaborate with stakeholders in the region
Agricultural Society of Kenya [ASK] coast branch chairman Henry Nyagah said they will collaborate with stakeholders in the region in embracing climate change smart agriculture technologies.
He further said they will ensure an enabling platform to disseminate trade initiatives to the Kenyan public.
“The exhibitors will have ample space to socialize, network and sample coastal culture,” he said.
Nyagah pointed out that apart from sampling the coastal culture they will offer space for entertainment and cuisine since many vendors have signed to participate in this year’s Mombasa international show which will take place from 4th September to 8th September.
He was speaking during this year’s exhibitors forum ahead of the Mombasa International Show to be held at Mkomani showground in Nyali constituency, Mombasa county.
The ASK coast branch chairman said this year’s show goers will be able to access information, subsidized prices of goods and services including government services.
Nyagah disclosed that last year the event had attracted over 150 exhibitors in trade, livestock and dairy farming, catering and funfair including arena.
He told the forum this year the event expects to have an increase in the number of exhibitors to over 250.
“With several visitors likely to hit approximately 0.25 million and over during the five-day event,” he said.
The ASK coast branch boss chairman said the exhibitors and show goers are welcome to the five-day event.
Nyagah said there are different things to be explored during the five-day event.
