Handicap 19 wins Oil and Gas golf series held in Mombasa county
Edwin Kiptoo was declared the overall winner during Oil and Gas golf series after he posted 41 points.
The overall winner, playing off 19 handicap, managed to beat a total of 198 golfers at the Nyali Golf and Country Club in Mombasa county.
Veteran golfer Domnic Makau won in the men’s category after he posted 40 points on countback.
Makau, playing off 25 handicap, failed to clinch the title of overall winner with two points less.
The runners-up award in the men’s category went to Kaileshi Chauhan playing off 24 handicap after he posted 37 points on countback.
The third award in the men’s category went to Evans Murumba after he posted 37 points playing off 25 handicap.
Helen Wanjiru won the ladies title playing off 27 handicap after she managed to post 39 points.
The runners-up award in the ladies category went to Nimisha Shah playing off 24 handicap after she managed to post 37 points.
