Clenc Investments Recognized for Innovation and Community Development in Kenya
Clenc Investments, a media and general supplies company has been ranked as one of the most innovative establishments focusing on community development and social programs on part time basis.
The company is among the few Nairobi tech based companies investing in education programs aimed at helping needy students and families struggling to make ends meet.
A recent survey by Miradi Mtaani which is a community based private organisation identified Clenc as one of the fastest growing companies in Nairobi,due to its dominance in community based initiatives .
In May,at least 25,000 people benefited from food donations courtesy of the company.
The company camped in the informal settlements of Kibra,Mathare,Huruma and Dandora to donate food to vulnerable families.
The company Chief Executive Officer Johnston Oduk,who spoke to media then,said that that the food donation was aimed at helping families who suffered the wrath of house demolitions in the Capital.
The company also helped 25 youths from the slums areas to offset their rent arrears.
The media company is partnering with environmental organisations to foster climate change initiatives in Nairobi.
The company is also gearing up for top awards at the end of the year and the management seeks to introduce more resilient initiatives to make it bigger This will involve partnerships with industry players to help reach more Kenyans and potential clients within the East Africa region
