Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro will be one the biggest casualties of President Ruto and Raila Odinga’s latest pact which will see allies of the two leaders share lucrative House Committee positions in both the National Assembly and the Senate.

On Monday, the Head of State chaired a crucial meeting at State House Nairobi with the Kenya Kwanza parliament leadership and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s close allies to allow Azimio la Umoja lawmakers to chair some crucial committees, including the Budget and Appropriation Committee, held by Ndindi Nyoro.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, and Senate majority leader, Aaron Cheruiyot,  Senate minority leader Steward Madzayo, Minority Leader Junet Mohamed and Minority Whip Millie Odhiambo attended the meeting.

ODM will chair the Budget and Appropriation, Health, Trade and Industry, Labour, and Regional Integration Committees.
