Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Ex-DP Gachagua Allies Kicked Out of Parliament Leadership Roles
Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has been dropped as the Budget and Appropriation Committee as the National Assembly picks new leaders of key departmental committees.
In the new changes, the minority will get 5 slots of committees normally chaired by the majority side, as the Kenya Kwanza administration moves to cement its pact with ODM.
Also kicked out of key departmental committees are former DP Rigathi Gachagua’s allies, including MPs Wanjiku Muhia (Kipipiri) , James Gakuya (Embakasi North), and Onesmus Ngogoyo (Kajiado South).
A section of top UDA leaders has accused Nyoro of being a bystander in combat between the president and his former deputy and has had a lukewarm relationship with UDA leadership after Rigathi Gachagua was axed from office.
