Inside President Ruto, Raila Odinga Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

President William Ruto and ODM supremo Raila Odinga have signed a pact to work together in one government in resolving issues facing the country.

The deal between the Ruto’s ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party and Raila’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was officially signed on Friday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), witnessed by top officials from both political parties.

The two Secretary Generals Edwin Sifuna  (ODM) and Hassan Omar (UDA)  presented  the terms of the UDA and ODM Memorandum of Understanding deal that will inform the following issues:

1. Full implementation of the NADCO Report

2. Inclusivity in all public life

3. Protecting and strengthening devolution

4. Promoting and protecting the livelihoods of young people

5. Leadership and Integrity

6. Right to peaceful assembly and protest

7. National debt

8. Fight against corruption

9. Stopping wastage of public resources and promote govt. efficiency

10. Protecting the Sovereignty of the people, the rule of law and constitutionalism
