Rwandan President Paul Kagame is expected in Homa Bay this Saturday, where he will close the Blue Economy Conference to be held at the Homa Bay  county lake front, and later, attend this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations on Sunday at the Raila Odinga Stadium.

According to reports,  Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki will officially open this year’s Madaraka Theme “Our Water, Our Wealth” Blue Economy Conference at Homa Bay Lake Front on Thursday.

The following day, on Friday, ODM leader Raila Odinga, as the Chief Guest at the Blue Economy Conference, will address guests and delegates present.

On Saturday, President Paul Kagame closes the Blue Economy conference at Homa Bay lake front and later is hosted by President William Ruto and Governor Gladys Wanga at Homa Bay state lodge.

On Sunday, the first-ever state function takes place in Homa Bay as the county hosts Madaraka Day.
