Social media influencer and entrepreneur Murugi Munyi has announced that she is selling her Land Rover Discovery, marking the end of a two-year journey with the luxury SUV.

In an Instagram post on Friday, January 9, 2026, Murugi stated that the decision to sell was motivated by her desire to try something new.

She expressed affection for the car, fondly named Shaba, noting that it has served her well and hoping it will find a new owner who will appreciate it just as much.

“I’m selling my baby. After two years with her, I want to try something new, so I’m letting go. She’s served me well, and I’d love to see my precious Shaba go to a loving home,” she shared.

Murugi also listed the vehicle’s specifications, revealing that it is a 2015 Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE with a Terrain Response system, seven seats, a panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system, a Harman Kardon sound system, electric memory seats, a multi-function steering wheel, and height-adjustable air suspension.

Safety features include ABS with EBD, traction and stability control, and hill descent and hill start assist. The SUV has clocked 89,000 kilometres.

This comes a few months after Murugi Munyi celebrated a major milestone in her family after her husband, Zach Munyi, completed the prestigious Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Strathmore Business School.

In an Instagram post on Friday, December 5, 2025, Murugi shared a heartfelt message honouring her husband’s hard work, discipline, and commitment throughout the year-long executive programme.

“So proud of you, King! Graduating today from Strathmore Business School after completing the year-long Advanced Management Program. Onwards and upwards. May God forever bless the work of your hands and your mind,” she wrote.
