DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has criticized former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party, saying the outfit is the weakest link in the United Opposition, with a section of its members supporting President William Ruto and his UDA administration.

Speaking on Monday in an interview with a local media house, the former deputy president said the Jubilee Party has trained its arsenal on him, attacking his leadership and the DCP party instead of going after Ruto, whom he feels should be the enemy.

”The have a problem with DCP. This is the weakest link, fighting us in Mt Kenya and not going for Ruto,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua further urged the Jubilee Party presidential candidate, ex-Interior CS Fred Matiang’i to form a new political party based in Kisii region, rather than aligning with Jubilee. He argues Jubilee is unclear on its stance and its members are loyal to President Ruto.
