Mombasa stadium will have a new facelift soonest, President Ruto assures.
President William Ruto has announced the government has set aside sh 1 billion to give the stalled Mombasa stadium a new facelift.
He also announced the government has taken over until the completion of the county sports facility by end of this year.
“The move is to ensure work on the the sports facility is complete by end of this year,” he said.
Ruto said the government has move in to end the perennial problems facing the completion of the stalled Mombasa stadium.
He spoke during the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project disbursement forum held at the Mombasa international show ground in Mombasa county.
The head of state added that his administration has got the solution to resolve the perennial problems facing the facility.
