NRA unveils its Bonchari By-election candidate

The National Reconstruction Party, NRA, on Thursday unveiled Erick Oigo Nyakeya as its candidate in the forthcoming Bonchari Constituency.
At a ceremony held at a Nairobi Hotel, NRA officials led by city lawyer Riziki Dunstan and Amemba Magufuli said it chose on Nyakeya owing to the fact that he is youthful, and having works as Bonchari Constituency Development Fund Offices, he understands what the Bonchari people need and how well they need to be represented.
In his speech, Nyakeya said he is going for the seat and that victory will be on his side when the last vote is counted.
“I take this time to thank NRA for giving me the opportunity to run on their ticket. I am not a quitter. I will deliver victory,” a jovial Nyakeya said.
He promised to deliver all his pledges once elected to parliamet.
“I will try to improve youth agenda through effective bursary disbursement ,tea marketing for our farmers and improve our learning institutions and above all make life affordable for Bonchari residents.” Nyakeya outlined.
The vibrant team from NRA that comprises mostly of youths said they will hit the ground running as from next week so as to popularize their agenda.
NRA whose slogan is “Mwamko Mpya” has it’s headquarters on Ngong-Matasia has offices in 41 counties and over 500, 000 registered members across the country.
NRA boasts of being a youthful party, with the majority of its national officials and founders being 35 years and below.
The party also said that it will field a candidate for the Juja parliamentary by-election and also field one for the Garissa Senatorial by election.
