No need to for more learning institutions in Mvita says MP

We have enough learning institutions at my backyardMvita MP Machele Mahmoud Soud has said.

He said the existing primary and secondary schools required maintenance which cannot allow the construction of new learning facilities.

The existing learning facilities at my backyard are unable to move to the next level,” he pointed out.

Machele disclosed that his constituency has 16 secondary schools which are in line with and can comfortably accommodate the government capitation allocation.

He was speaking during the disbursement of bursary funds cheques for needy secondary school students head during a ceremony held at Ronald Ngala Primary School in Mvita constituency, Mombasa county.

The lawmaker said the decision will avert public enrolment from other constituencies.

Machele said the move will reduce cases of insecurity in the area due to hardship with 28 primary schools available.

He said the current number of schools has existed for a decade adding that there is no need for mores schools which will have empty classrooms.

Most of the facilities have served the last generation and the existing new generation,” he pointed out.
