Media personality Oga Obinna has opened up about the heartbreaking final moments leading to the death of musician Shalkido, formerly of the Boondocks Gang, who lost his life in a grisly road accident along Thika Road.
Speaking in an emotional narration on Tik Tok, Obinna shared a detailed account of what happened, revealing how events unfolded moments before the tragedy. According to him, Shalkido was returning home when the fatal accident occurred, shocking friends and fans across the country.
Obinna described the late artist as a talented, humble, and fun-loving individual whose life was cut short just as he was preparing for new music projects. He urged fellow artists to prioritize road safety and mental wellness, noting that the industry has lost too many young creatives to preventable tragedies.
Fans have since flooded social media with tributes, mourning the fallen star and remembering his contributions to Kenya’s gengetone music scene.
