Celebrated reggae artiste Luciano, born Jepther McClymont, is set to jet into the country for a series of high-profile engagements on Monday, November 17, and Tuesday, November 18, 2025, for scheduled performances thereafter.

According to the official arrival schedule, the Jamaican reggae star, famed for his conscious lyrics and uplifting messages, is expected to address the press shortly after landing in the country.

Luciano’s first stop will be Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Monday, 17th November 2025, where a press briefing is scheduled for 12:00 noon. Event organisers have invited media houses, journalists, and digital content creators to capture his arrival and initial remarks. The briefing is expected to set the tone for his upcoming activities in Kenya, including performances and cultural engagements.

The following day, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Luciano will hold the main press conference at 8:00 am at Mövenpick Hotel in Westlands. This session is anticipated to offer deeper insights into his visit, upcoming events, collaborations, and his message to Kenyan fans. Given Luciano’s strong following in the country, a significant turnout from both mainstream media and online creators is expected.

The event is supported by a consortium of Kenyan media platforms and entertainment partners, including Mediamax Network, K24 TV, Milele FM, Sound Hauntee, Good Vibes Festival, The Dome, Mövenpick Hotel, Kameme FM, and others.

As the festive season kicks in, Luciano’s arrival marks yet another milestone for Kenya’s vibrant reggae scene, which continues to attract global icons. Luciano is a dedicated Rastafarian whose lyrics promote consciousness. The singer has more often criticised other Rastafarian reggae artists who record material that does not inspire and uplift the soul, describing them as having lost focus.

Luciano is widely known for reading Biblical verses prior to performances. In 2002, he was nominated for the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in the Best Reggae Album category for his work ‘A New Day‘. He was also nominated for the Awards in 2016 for the 58th annual ceremony, for his artistic work ‘Zion Awake‘ in the same category.
