President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked his Deputy William Ruto to stop engaging in double speak regarding the government’s development agenda.

The President on Friday said that it’s hypocritical of Ruto to try and take credit for government’s projects yet at the same time wage a campaign against him.

Uhuru asked Ruto to either stick to the government’s development agenda an support him or completely stay out.

” You are either with us or not not but this habit of walking around and taking credit of what we have done then go on to discredit the same government must stop,” Uhuru said.

He was speaking in Uthiru where he commissioned a new health centre done by the Nairobi Metropolitan Service. He was later on scheduled to open another health centre in Kiamaiko, Nairobi.

The President said this even as his deputy pitched camp in Kiambu County to meet and offer financial support to Boda Boda operators.

Uhuru seemed to have been angered by a recent incident in Kiambu where mourners walked out of Agriculture Cabinet Sectretary Peter Munya whom he had sent to read his message of condolences at a burial ceremony.

At Uthiru,Uhuru asked Nairobi residents to support the BBI initiative. He said that the track record set by the NMS is an indicator that with more funding, more projects can be done in the capital city.

” Now you can see what we have been able to do with the few funds we have given the NMS.What will happen if we give the county more funds for service delivery? Uhuru asked the residents.

The President is expected to mount a serious BBI campaign in the larger Mount Kenya region begining next month.
