Businessman Tonny Yogo donated Musical equipment worth Ksh 700,000 to Luo Artist Osito Kalle.
Yogo who is also targeting the Siaya senatorial seat underlined the need for governments, institutions and individuals to support artists.
“I will continue helping them beginning with Siaya where we are going to buld this studio for out talented people,”
The state-of-the-Art Studio will be in honour of departed music heroes and heroines like Oketch Biggy, Ochieng Kabasselah, Musa Juma Omondi Tonny among others.
“Some of these legends we should celebrate them when a live not only in death situations,” .he added.
Some of the musicians that will benefit from the state of Art Studio includes Dolla Kabbary, Tonny Juma, Odhiambo Tusker, Emma Jalamo, Otieno Small, Omondi Reffer, Elly Jarumba, Aluoch Jamarumba among others.
While acknowledging the emance contribution by the Businessman towards his musical career, Osito was upbeat that the modern equipments received will do great to his opportunity. I thank God he has come to support me. I promise do better. Said Osito Kalle.
Tonny said he will continue helping musicians achieve their targets so that the industry can continue to thrive.
