Kisii Deputy Governor adopts a child whose mother perished in a road accident

Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi adopted the young girl of 3 after her youthful mother was involved in a fatal road accident.
Helder Onyando, was in company of other United Democratic Alliance’s Bonchari M.P candidate Teresa Bitutu Oroo supporters in rally when their aboard car lost control and rolled where she succumbed to injuries later.
The deputy governor was accompanied by Teresa Bitutu to condole with the family at their home in Iyabe, Bonchari where they promised to take up the responbilities of raising the child regardless of them not being voted in as Governor in 2022 and Member of Parliament in May 18 2021 respectively.
Mr. Maangi while conveying his message of condolence to the bereaved family and the few mourners present, urged them to always follow the health guidelines on Covid-19 pandemic saying the virus had killed many of their supporters and wanted people to stay safe.
He drummed up support for the UDA candidate for Bonchari May 18th by- election saying she is capable of completing the projects that were initiated by her late husband John Oroo Oyioka, the immediate legislature for Bonchari constituency who died leaving the seat vacant.
