Nairobi to experience heavy traffic jams as WRC Safari Rally commences

Nairobi Regional Traffic Commandant Joshua Omukata says several Nairobi Roads will experience traffic snarl ups on Thursday as the ceremonial WRC Safari Rally takes place at KICC.
Thika Super Highway will experience the traffic snarl up at 8am when the cars will leave Safari Park Hotel for KICC.
The Super Highway will also experience the same at 12 45pm when the cars will leave KICC to MISC Kasarani, then to Ngomongo, back to the Highway as they exit through Muthaiga Road to Naivasha.
CBD Roads that will be affected include Parliament Road, Haile Selassie Avenue, Uhuru Highway and Wangari Maathai Road (Former Forest Road).
Addressing the media on Wednesday Omukata asked spectators to be careful during the rallying saying their lives matters hence they need to keep a safe distance from the way of the rallying cars.
