Westlands MP Releases Ksh4.5 Million Bursary Forms to Kitisuru Residents
The Westlands NG-CDF has released application forms for the Westlands Bursary Fund.
The forms were made available at Loresho and Kenya School of Government Chapel on Monday, July 5, 2021. A total of KES 4.5 million will be disbursed in bursaries to needy students and applicants filled and returned the duly filled forms at the venues for processing of cheques.
Speaking at Kenya School of Government Chapel while presenting the forms , Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi said the forms were taken closer to the electorate for easier access. He added that CDF hopes to process the cheques before schools reopen for third term in July.
“We had an interactive session with Lower Kitisuru residents. They said going to Loresho is quite far and distant. IN a break from past we decided to bring the forms here,” Wannyonyi said.
Wanyonyi asked parents with children going to form one to drop their application documents in the CDF office. The soft spoken legislator added that the scholarship program will also consider the needy and exceptional students. He however said that the scholars should maintain top performance in their schools.
The Westlands CDF bursary forms are usually issued at the ward level. The disbursement in Parklands Ward is scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Highridge Primary.
