Athletics Kenya Mourns CS Amina Mohammed’s Husband
Athletics Kenya is this morning devastated to learn of the passing of Khalid Ahmed, lovely husband to Amina Mohammed, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Sports.
Ahmed distinguished himself as an industrialist determined to make a positive impact on whatever he laid his hands on. He was a father figure to not only his family but to those with whom he crossed paths in his daily life as an industrialist and philanthropist.
At AK, we stand together in prayers with Dr Amina that the Almighty may strengthen her and the family at this trying time. We also pray and hope many more who interacted with him may follow in his example of kindness, humility, love and hardwork.
