Pres Uhuru to share stage with his defiant DP Ruto during Mashujaa Day celebrations
President Uhuru Kenyatta will tomorrow come face-to-face with his rebellious deputy William Ruto during Mashujaa Day celebrations to be held at Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County,
The two do not see eye to eye after falling out few years ago as the 2022 succession war intensifies.
Meanwhile,
Makutano- Mwea-Embu highway will remain closed for a considerable number of hours tomorrow as Wang’uru Stadium is set to host this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations.
Central Region Commissioner Wilfred Nyangwanga says the road will be temporarily closed in order to reduce traffic congestion and enable smooth flow of the dignitaries’ vehicles heading to the stadium.
Nyangwanga says the road will be closed from the Makutano junction all the way to the Samson corner junction.
