Aladwa Was Paid Ksh150,000 to sell Party Position Says Aspirants
Section of ODM aspirants are now accusing ODM chairman Nairobi County for what they term as selling out ODM positions at county level to currents MCAs.
The aspirants says Aladwa has made it difficult for them to participate in party elections and that he is installing his own people as chair persons at the 16 constituencies.
‘’We are really tired of these tricks… I thought ODM was democratic and our delegates were supposed to have an election. We didn’t know it’s a money affair and you are installed.’’ An aspirant for Embakasi West said.
They have now threatened to halt ODM boss Presidential launch at Kasarani should ODM top brass fail to address the matter.
‘’We shall smoke them out, some paid up to 150 000 to Aladwa just to secure this constituency chairmanship. They thing that we are not informed about their dealings. The issue of Aladwa trading with ODM party must stop.’’ Another aspirant added.
We reached out to some of the aspirants alleged to have bribed Aladwa, who confirmed yes they met the delegates but were endorsed overwhelmingly dismissing any claims of bribery
