Nokia has Now Entered the Word of Tablets with T20
Nokia has announced its entry into the Tablet market with the launch of its T series the Nokia T20
The Nokia name has been ticking again in the smartphone market five years since HMD Global took over the brand.
The phone maker has now entered the world of tablets.
The Nokia T20 marks the introduction of the brand-new T-series in Nokia’s portfolio of gadgets.
Gopher Ogembo, the Senior Business Manager for Kenya & East Africa HMD Global revealed what informed the decision to venture into the Tablets market was that over the past year, there has been an increase in hybrid working and online learning, as well as the growing use of social media, video calling platforms and streaming services, leading to an increase in the appetite for tablets.
According to Ogembo 161 million tablets were shipped globally last year.
“The tablets market grew an impressive 53% in Ql from 2020 to 20211 so, we created HMO Global’s first-ever Nokia tablet to address people’s changing needs and their desire for versatile technology and features,” said Ogembo
Packed with clear 2K screen plus three years of monthly security updates and two years of free operating system (OS) upgrades the t20 will retail at Ksh29, 900.
The brand-new tablet brings big screen, with a range of versatile features and a long-lasting battery life.
