Sakaja to be elected Nairobi Governor if elections were held today, new poll

Johnson Sakaja will be elected Nairobi’s next governor of the country’s capital if polls were held today.
This is according to a poll by Tifa which indicates that Sajaka, the current Nairobi Senator, enjoys a 30 percent lead.
Current Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris is second with an 11 percent rating according to the same poll, while Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi comes third with six percent.
Meanwhile, 24 percent of respondents in this poll are yet to decide whom to vote for, leaving the race wide open.
Impeached Governor Mike Sonko, who’s not indicated whether or not he will contest, is at two percent whereas Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) boss Mohamed Badi has one percent backing.
Badi is not a politician and has been performing the functions of offering services in Nairobi as an appointee of the president.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who is also eyeing the governor slot, had five percent popularity, while businesswoman Agnes Kagure is at four percent.
