Lobby Endorses Ngatia for Nairobi Race
Political lobby group Bunge la Mwanainchi have declared their support for Richard Ngatia’s Nairobi Gubernatorial bid.
They have promised to initiate a significant roles to complement Ngatia in his quest to become the next Governor of Nairobi.
The candidature of the National Chamber of Commerce Boss has illicited mxed reactions among Nairobians trimming him as the compromised candidate for Nairobi.
The lobby on what would seem as a swipe at Wanyonyi who has already declared his bid noted that the county cannot be run by individuals from one village.
Sifuna’s declaration to vie for Nairobi Senator position has been interpreted in some quarters as a strategy to alter Wanyonyi’s bid because the Azimio la Umoja spirit is pinched on the need to balance the tribal arithmetic in Nairobi.
Both Wanyonyi and Sifuna come from Bungoma county in Western Kenya and this is already turning out to be hectic to accommodate the two in those positions.
“Some people want to bring their villages to Nairobi we won’t accept that,” the youths said.
They maintained that their ambition is ensuring that Ngatia takes over Nairobi after the elections in 2022.
They have expressed their faith in him saying he is capable of providing solution to the problems the county is facing.
They pointed out that Wanyonyi failed to create job opportunities for youths in Westlands.
The Nubian community in kibra have also thrown Their weight behind Ngatia’s Candidature.
Westland MP Tim Wanyonyi, Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja,Kenya Chambers of Commerce and Industry president Richard Ngatia and business woman Agnes Kagure are the individuals who have so far expressed interest interest in Nairobi.
