CS Cecil Kariuki Says Plan Is In place to Implement Development Masterplan
The Cabinet Secretary in the ministry of Water sanitation and irrigation Cecil Kariuki has said that the ministry has set up a water supply plan that will be implemented in the next five years
The CS was speaking during a tour of Nyandarua where she lauded the development that have been undertaken in the county.
“We are headed for the home stretch even if we leave office our work will continue with those who will remain in office. We are still working that’s why I was in Kwale yesterday. We have water and irrigation projects still ongoing like this is the first time Nyandarua is getting a sewer system,” said Kariuki
She added that the initiatives the government is working on will be implemented by subsequent governments.
“We have 6 months still remaining to the general election once politicians and president leave the remaining staff will be here to implement”
