Chaos at Jubilee Party Nairobi Branch strategic meeting
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party is strategizing on how to capture as many seats in Nairobi as possible.
This has been evident by the meeting the party’s grassroot leaders have been holding in the city with several aspirants who want to use the party as their vehicle to run for various posts in the city.
One such meeting was held at Sagret Hotel today Friday 11th March 2022 but it was marred with chaos after several supporters of some gubernatorial contestants almost took for each others throats.
The meeting that was organized by Dennis Waweru, a Jubilee Party honcho, which sought to ensure that the party aspirants remain united in the city ahead of the August polls turned chaotic after several aspirants allied to one Richard Ngatia started shouting down other aspirants who need the parties ticket to run for the Gubernatorial seat, which Ngatia is also eyeing.
Notable figures present at the meeting chaired by Waweru were the party’s Deputy Chair Peter Mositet, Roysambu MP Waihenya Ndirangu, Nairobi governor hopeful Agnes Kagure, representatives from Nairobi County amongst many others.
