Meet ex-Kibaki Bodyguard who saluted twice in honor of former fallen boss
George Nderitu, a long-time bodyguard and a fixture in the Late President Mwai Kibaki’s security detail, paid his last respects among the many Kenyans who first trooped to Parliament where Kibaki’s body is lying in state.
Nderitu has been a mainstay in Kibaki’s security detail even before he became Head of State.
Dressed in his official GSU uniform, the officer made two salutes after viewing the body before standing for a while, then bowing and moving on.
The General Service Unit (GSU) officer is reportedly part of the elite G-company mandated to secure Kenya’s presidents.
