Court issues warrant of arrest against Finsco Africa director for skipping case hearing
A warrant of arrest has been issued against a company director for failing to appear in court to answer to charges of carrying out development without permission.
John Mbugua Ndichu, a marketing director at Finsco Africa company, was to appear in court on Tuesday to plead to the charges but failed to do so.
Mbugua was arrested on May 17 and is out on a police cash bail of Sh10,000.
In the charge sheet before court, he is accused of carrying out land subdivision as an agent of Riverline ridges without development permission from county government of Kiambu.
He is alleged to have committed the offence on May 17 at around 1600hours at Mugotha area in Juja.
In count two, he is charged with failing to comply with enforcement notice contrary to the law.
The prosecution say that on the same dates and place, he failed to comply with notice requiring him to stop any further sub division and advertisement and seek county approvals.
