Agani promises a new Dagorreti North if elected MP
Dagorreti North Constitency MP aspirant Agani M. Julius is not your ordinary aspirant.
The soft-spoken politician has defied all odds to be where he is now and wants to change the fortunes of the expansive cosmopolitan constituency for the better.
Agani was born in Nyamira township and grew up in Kericho. He was also raised in Kawangware area in Nairobi which is at the heart of the constituency he now wants to represent in parliament.
He studied at Jamji Primary School in Kericho and in Esanige Primary School before joining Kabartegan Hich School in Kericho where he sat for his O level examinations.
After his which school studies, Agani joined Shanzu Teachers College in Mombasa and later joined the University of Nairobi wherefrom he attained a B.ED (aRTS) dEGREE, and then later pursued an MBA in Strategic Management from the same institution.
Due to his educational background, the businessman also owns several schools, Angels Academy and States High School Nairobi, both primary and secondary schools, in Kawangware, Ngong, Rongai, and Athi River which has seen many children quench their thirst for education.
Agani is also a CEO of Health Net Planners and the Executive Vice President of Rogfi whose headquarters is in the U.S.A.
He joined politics in 2017 where he contested for an MCA seat but lost narrowly.
Due to pressure and demands from his supporters, he has now trained his eyes on the Dgorreti North Constituency Seat currently held by Simba Arati, who has since left city politics to contest for the Kisii County gubernatorial seat.
‘There are several projects in Dagorreti which I have been aiding personally. I accepted the call of my supporters to vie for the member of parliament position. I will want to see no child is left behind in education by mobilizing all children to be in school through bursaries and I will start adult education to help school dropout students to complete their education.’ Agani told this reporter.
‘I will establish more tertiary colleges to help others to achieve college education and training. I will create means of jobs and job creation by letting Sacco and Microfinance firms to open offices in my constituency and give loans to my voters to start businesses hence employ themselves and employ others,’ Agani further pledges.
He also says that he will enhance more police post stations to pave way of security to his constituents, especially in Kawangwarearea, an area that is prone to insecurity.
Agani further pledges to solstice water distribution in the area and all roads be accessible and well maintained.
‘I will promote motions in parliament to ensure Kenyan girl and woman is protected by the law’ he says.
