Bingwa Home Services hosts inaugural Open Day
Bingwa Home Services hosted the inaugural Bingwa Home Services Open Day, at the Bingwa Centre on Kandara Road in Kileleshwa Nairobi.
The goal of the open day was to make Nairobians aware of the importance of using professional technicians to safely and reliably repair, fix and maintain electrical, plumbing and painting in their homes.
This is in light of the fact that every year, there are more than 50,000 fires, 500 accidents as well as countless injuries and illnesses resulting from poor quality installations, works, repairs and equipment in Kenyan homes.
These incidents mostly relate to electrical, water and painting faults.
At the open day, installation and safety experts from KPLC, NYS Training School, Department of Safety and Health and Water Sanitation and Hygiene services took residents through management and elimination of risks and hazards in the home.
Suppliers of services, products, materials and tools also explained to guests the importance of using competent Bingwas, quality materials and processes when maintaining their homes.
Speaking at the premier forum, Bingwa Services Director, Njihia Njoroge, explained how the Bingwa App works for home owners by providing them the largest possible number of highly qualified professional technicians for their needs.
He also pointed out how the Bingwa App helped electricians, plumbers and painters to grow their businesses increase their customer base and increase their incomes.
Mr Njihia also introduced a cross section of professional technicians (Bingwas) who took the
assembled guests on how they approach and execute their services for home residents.
Finally, residents were taken through the process of downloading the app, signing up and ordering said services.
At the end of the occasion Mr Peter Wafula – a resident of Kandara Road said that his understanding of the importance of reliable home services was greatly increased. He implored his neighbours and Nairobi residents at large to try out the Bingwa app to reduce their risks and increase their satisfaction.
Mr. Wafula dubbed Bingwa – the Uber for Home services.
