David Mberia Vows Not to Budge

Despite unexplained delays to clear him, Karen ward member of county assembly MCA David Mberia has stood steadfast and says he won’t be cowed.
“The Langata Constituency Returning officer Madam Janet Ndanu has no excuse but to clear me on Monday. The ODM Party withdrew the name of Antony Maragu and forwarded my names for clearance by the IEBC. The IEBC vide an internal memo dated 25th of July forwarded my names for clearance by the Langata Constituency returning officer Madam Janet Ndanu.
The good POWERFUL lady has been sitting on the memo from their bosses for the last SIX DAYS! WE must establish whose powers she has been acting on, on behalf of the INDEPENDENT AND ELECTORAL AND BOUNDARIES COMMISSION”
In the nomination, Mberia held a clear lead against his competitors for the good job he has done for Karen ward for the last two terms.
Hon David Mberia, rose from obscurity as a die hard supporter of Raila Odinga since the days of NDP, and got elected as councillor for Karen Ward on an ODM party ticket in 2007.
Has since maintained an iron grip on the seat, getting elected as MCA in 2013 and 2017 on an ODM ticket.
Failure to be cleared immediately will elicit a mother of all demos to Langata IEBC office Monday morning.
