Battle for Nairobi Speaker’s Seat takes Shape
The Nairobi City County Speaker position has attracted a number of high profiled applicants.
Ken Ngondi former Kware Member of County Assembly is on the leading slot to take over the position after an endorsement by Nairobi Governor Elect Johnson Sakaja.
Ngondi stands a chance to take the seat as the Azimio MCAs elected as well nominees have also endorsed him for the position.
Speaking to journalists in Nairobi, Ngondi wants to bring peace,harmony,cohesion and togetherness for a better Nairobi City County fraternity.
“Nairobi deserves best, I am neutral and will bring together the executive and assembly for efficient service delivery,” Ngodi said.
Azimio La Umoja Leadership led by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka are banking on Azimio majority members elected as well as the Kenya Kwanza who see him as a sober, smart and politicaly correct leader.
