Clergy – Let Bygones be Bygones
By John Kariuki
The Clergy has implored the Kenyans to embrace the elected leaders for our country to move forward.
Apostle Simon Kamau Mukono of Christian Worship International Ministries has urged even the elected leaders and even those who didn’t manage to win, to accept the verdict and move on.
“kenya is our motherland and doesn’t belong to any individual. So it’s only rational for all leaders to accept Wanjiku’s verdict and move on. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that in every contest there must be a winner and a loser,” Apostle Mukono noted.
The Man of God had on Sunday led and presided over a Thanksgiving service at Kutus town..
“The Grace of God has been manifest in our Nation since such a thing has never happened before to see such a peaceful election devoid of violence or bloodshed,” he added.
Apostle Kamau, a highly respected clergyman, had even before the elections led a prayer and fasting devotion asking the Almighty to grant our country a Peaceful transition.
“This is an answered prayer and I call upon every Kenyan to continue to pray for our country at a time when over forty heads of state are expected to grace the Inauguration of the President elect Dr. William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday at Kasarani.”
