IEBC Flags Sakajas’ Lies and Fake Court Order on Sitting Gazettement
The Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission has clashed with Nairobi governor Johnson Saakaja over purported rumours saying that there is a court order stopping the gazzetement of Nairobi County Assembly first sitting.The Commission has termed such as fake and false.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has been moving around claiming that there is court order barring him from gazetting the assembly first sitting.
Kilimani ward MCA Moses Ogeto want Sakaja to stop Ping pong games and immediately gazette the sitting.
“We have constitutional duty to fulfill…we want to oversight the executive.” Ogeto said.
“Sakaja is playing a dangerous politics he said there is a court order and IEBC is very clear in this matter and has flagged it as fake.” Ogeto said.
