We have forgiven you but we won’t forget, Sonko tells CS Matiang’i
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko says Kenya Kwanza government has forgiven the Cabinet Secretaries (CS) who humiliated William Ruto when he was separated from his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta’s reign.
Sonko writing on his Facebook Page said people forgive but there are things hard to forget.
“President William Ruto is currently having a meeting with Uhuru’s cabinet at state house. Now my question is, according to Hon. Osoro whom I have just called confirmation, there’s a day the Super CS Fred Matiangi texted H.E the President William Ruto (when he was DP) in Nyamira during campaign and referred him to as an “idiot” now Ruto is the President how does Matiangi feel?” He wrote.
Matiangi had during the impasse between President Kenyatta and his then Deputy William Ruto been given roles that were previously held by Ruto as a move to sideline the Chief hustler from direct government engagement in Kenya.
He is remembered to have attacked Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua when they complained about intensified state harassment prior to campaigns for leadership.
